The main SDGs that we take into consideration are 5, 8, 10 and 16.
Alexandra Cypress,
President of “Equality and inclusion for Sustainability” Committee
Honourable delegates,
It is a great pleasure for me, as the “President of Equality and inclusion for Sustainability” Committee, to welcome you to Model HLPF!

The Agenda of our Committee covers one of the most relevant matters in modern international society. The question of equality and inclusion in a perspective of Sustainable Development is an important part of all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs, in their turn, are the Goals that are aimed at accelerating the process of the overall development of the world and society to leave no one behind and give an opportunity to next generations to live without a problem of meeting people’s needs.

During the sessions of our Committee the Delegates will have burning discussions and heated debates on the Agenda to come to the best conclusion on how to make this world better and change it in a sustainable manner. If people are truly equal, and not only in accordance with the legislation, our society will achieve tremendous development, since each person will be able to fully realize their ideas and to complete self-fulfilment.

Our common future depends on us, and so today this new generation is to determine the destiny of both states and the whole world. As a President, I am extremely excited to meet you all and look forward to seeing you all at the session of Model HLPF!

Do not hesitate to join our Committee to develop this world as well as your own competences.

See you at Model HLPF
Margarita Iakovenko,
Vice-President of the “Equality and inclusion for Sustainability” Committee
Dear delegates,
My name is Margarita Iakovenko and I’m a 2-year student of International Relations in SPBSU. Nowadays questions of inclusiveness and equality are highly important, the world changes every day and we, as a community, face many problems with it. Our Agenda is a part of Sustainable Development Goals, exactly we will consider 5, 8, 10 and 16 SDGs but, of course, the problem is much deeper than these aspects of the global transformation.

During our model, we will discuss all problems of promoting equality and inclusiveness in the modern world. We will have vivid debates and share countries’ and actors’ of the International Relations positions. To find out the best solutions we will delve deep into the controversial subject, consider peculiarities and then come up with the final document.

Do not be afraid of being a part of our committee. We are waiting for you in model HLPF to change our world for better.

Wish you luck,
Committee Board
Maria Simnova
Expertess of “Equality and inclusion for Sustainability” Committee
Honourable delegates,
It is a great pleasure to welcome you all to our committee “Equality and inclusion for sustainability”! My name is Simnova Maria, I am a junior student of International Relations at SPbU and the Expertess of this committee.

As my colleagues have already said, promoting equality and inclusion as an engine for sustainable development is an essential part of improving quality of life and striving for better future. Consequently, formulating adequate and efficient policies and strategies to accomplish these goals should be the central objective of global cooperation. We must build on the work that we have already done with the Member States and civil society to provide equal opportunities for all. As it is said in the 2030 Agenda, “no one should be left behind”.

We appreciate everyone’s input, so don’t be afraid to submit your application. I am looking forward to our fruitful discussions.

Best regards,
